Tbilisi Mayor's Family Left Shovi Hours Before Landslide
25 people are missing in the area affected by the landslide in Shovi. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Georgia. According to Novosti-Georgia, the number of those whose fate remains unknown has decreased by half since last night. 11 fatalities have been discovered, and over 200 individuals have been evacuated by helicopter.
The family of Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, including his wife and children, were also vacationing in Shovi. They left the hotel just hours before the landslide occurred.
It should be noted that a landslide occurred in the Shovi resort in Georgia yesterday, destroying cottages, submerging a bridge in the river, and damaging roads.
