Irina Miroshnichenko, the People's Artist of Russia and celebrated actress, has died at the age of 82. This has been reported by the Starhit publication.

The actress was admitted to the hospital on July 30 due to severe flu complications. She was immediately placed in the intensive care unit.

A day later, Miroshnichenko's heart stopped, but doctors managed to restore her heartbeat.

Today, Irina Petrovna passed away in the intensive care unit without regaining consciousness.

Miroshnichenko became widely known for her roles in films such as “The Guest from the Future,” “I Walk in Moscow,” and “Andrei Rublev.” Up until her hospitalization, she continued performing on stage.
