Mercedes Crashes into Russian Embassy Gates in Chisinau

This morning, a Mercedes vehicle crashed into the gates of the Russian Embassy in Moldova and fled the scene. The driver did not comply with the police's 'stop' order and continued driving, causing damage to two other vehicles along the way. Eventually, police apprehended the car with force in the Strășeni area. According to the police, no one was injured. There is currently no additional information regarding the perpetrator and the motives behind the action.

This incident follows last weekend's directive from Moldovan authorities to reduce the staff at the Russian Embassy from 70 to 25 employees.
