Eduard Spertsyan Suspended for Two Matches

The control and disciplinary committee of the Russian Football Union has decided to suspend Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan for two matches following the game against Spartak Moscow in the first round of the Russian Cup tournament. This was announced to journalists by the committee's chairman, Arthur Grigoryants.

According to him, Spertsyan cannot appeal the committee's decision. Krasnodar lost 1-2 to Spartak at home on July 27. Spertsyan was sent off the field in the 44th minute for a foul against Anton Zinkovsky.
