Wagner Halts Recruitment of New Mercenaries, Prigozhin Confirms

The founder of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has confirmed in a statement on his Telegram channel that the company has halted the recruitment of new mercenaries.

“The timing for the opening of recruitment centers has yet to be determined,” Prigozhin stated. “As long as we do not feel a shortage of personnel, we will not plan any new recruitment.”

It was previously reported that Wagner has indefinitely suspended the operations of its regional recruitment centers.

Prigozhin also mentioned that Wagner continues to operate in Africa and at its training centers in Belarus, adding that most of the company’s mercenaries are currently on leave.
