Video: "There was to be a meeting between Stepanakert and Baku tomorrow, but Azerbaijan has refused," Tigran Petrosyan

There was to be a meeting between Stepanakert and Baku tomorrow, but Azerbaijan has refused. This was reported during a Facebook live broadcast by Tigran Petrosyan, the chairman of the Anti-Crisis Council of the President of Artsakh.

He elaborated that a meeting between representatives of Azerbaijan and Artsakh was scheduled to take place in Bratislava on August 1, but Azerbaijan refused to attend the meeting two days ago without any explanation.

“Tomorrow or the day after, foreign representatives will arrive in Yerevan for some discussions. The discussions will conclude, and I will present what has been discussed. They want to address Moscow's conduct. Moscow is currently proposing to go to a meeting in Evlakh, meaning Moscow is organizing a meeting in Azerbaijan while Baku has begun to abduct those from Artsakh who participated in the liberation struggle, as exemplified by Vagif Khachatryan right before our eyes. Moscow’s proposal is a mockery towards us,” Petrosyan stated.

According to the head of the Anti-Crisis Council, they are currently waiting for proposals from the United States and Europe, which will be consolidated to determine their next actions.

It is worth noting that according to circulating information, a dialogue between Stepanakert and Baku is expected to take place in one of the European cities with the mediation of the United States in the coming days.
