VIDEO: "Our findings show that cases of fainting are on the rise," says Artsakh Ombudsman
Due to the ongoing blockade, thousands of citizens in Artsakh are forced to stand in line for hours to obtain a minimal amount of food or essential supplies. Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan noted this in a post on his Facebook page, accompanied by a video.
“In these crowded queues, cases of fainting are frequently recorded, directly linked to the residents' psychological stress, malnutrition compromising the immune system, and hot weather conditions. Our findings show that instances of fainting are increasingly rising. This undeniably proves that the humanitarian crisis has direct and devastating consequences on public health, endangering the lives of thousands,” he wrote.
