Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Accuses Ararat Mirzoyan
The official Baku, responding to the statements made by Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, has accused him of being involved in an "anti-Azerbaijani campaign."
"The anti-Azerbaijani campaign conducted by Armenia, the avoidance of commitments regarding international platforms, including negotiations around the peace process and the rhetoric that nullifies the efforts of international mediators, proves that Armenia is not interested in peace and stability in the region," the statement reads.
Baku accuses the Armenian Foreign Minister of aggressive rhetoric and calls for an assessment from the international community. "It is especially important for the international community to give an appropriate assessment of the aggressive rhetoric of Armenia's foreign minister, who instead of supporting Azerbaijan's efforts to reintegrate ethnic Armenians, has presented a list of provocative and illogical desires in this regard," the statement continues.
It is also noted that "the Armenians of Artsakh cannot have superior rights over the Azerbaijani population."
Recall that yesterday, the Armenian Foreign Ministry published Ararat Mirzoyan's comments regarding the situation in and around Artsakh.
