VIDEO: Heavy Rain in Moscow Causes Severe Flooding; Flights Delayed

Severe flooding has been caused by heavy rainfall in Moscow, Russia. This was reported by Tsargrad.tv.

According to the publication, rainfall of up to 25 mm has been recorded around the Circular Road of Moscow. The most affected area is Vernadsky Avenue, where the entire 25 mm fell.

The rain has led to flooding in the Praktika fitness club, as well as in the Vegas Kuntsevo and Rumer shopping centers, the newspaper states.

According to the city’s Telegram channels, the "Narodnoye Militsiya" metro station has been flooded due to the heavy rain, but it is now operating normally.

At the airports, flights have been delayed and canceled. Rain is also falling in the suburbs.

Earlier, meteorologists from the Russian Hydro-Meteorological Center warned that rain is expected throughout this week in Moscow.
