‘Russia’s constant justifications and failure to provide tangible solutions is becoming unbearable,’ says Artsakh Prime Minister
The authorities of the Republic of Armenia have stated and continue to state that dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert is necessary within the framework of an international mechanism. The people of Artsakh also understand that dialogue is essential for talking, discussing, and presenting and protecting our rights, including the right to self-determination, and for contributing to the establishment of peace in the region. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Artsakh, Gurgen Nersisyan, on his Facebook page.
“However, from the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation yesterday, it becomes clear that the Republic of Armenia has already determined the scope of issues to be discussed during this dialogue, or the Republic of Armenia has agreed to the subject proposed by Azerbaijan for discussion. Now either the Republic of Armenia must deny this fact or we must record that the ‘bar’ for the Baku-Stepanakert dialogue has been reduced to an unbearable extent. This is very important for the Armenian people, including the Artsakh Armenians, to understand their future actions,” the post reads.
“The approach of the Russian Federation, which constantly brings justifications and fails to provide tangible solutions to the created catastrophic situation, is also becoming unbearable. It is interesting why those who advocate for the dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert at all costs, and for strengthening and achieving victories thereafter, do not speak up,” it is stated in the statement.
