Video: We Expect Another Summit Involving the Leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan - Lavrov
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced plans to hold a summit with the participation of the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. Lavrov made this statement while summarizing the results of the trilateral negotiations held in Moscow with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov.
Previously, it was reported that Lavrov would discuss the preparation of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan with the foreign ministers on July 25.
"We will continue active work towards the preparation of further meetings, including plans to hold another summit involving the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia," Lavrov concluded.
Moscow expects that negotiations with Yerevan and Baku will continue, specifically proposing to initiate trilateral dialogue among parliamentarians, as well as to resume discussions among representatives of civil society and expert-political analysts.
