Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry Cuts Short Visit to Turkey and Returns to Baku

Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry Madat Guliyev, who was attending the IDEF-2023 international defense industry exhibition in Turkey, has cut short his visit due to an explosion at a ministry factory and returned to Baku. Azerbaijani media report this.

Guliyev urgently traveled to Shirvan.

Madat Guliyev, ministry staff, and the city prosecutor visited the site of the incident to obtain detailed information.

It is noted that today there was an explosion during the pressing of explosive material reducer at the "Shirvan-Arazi Factory" LLC of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Industry, resulting in one death and one person sustaining hand injuries.
