Artificial Intelligence Cameras in Japan to Prevent Crimes Before They Happen
Artificial intelligence-powered municipal cameras in Japan will prevent crimes before they occur. The cameras will detect individuals exhibiting 'suspicious' behaviors, such as frequently looking back and having a 'running' gaze. Additionally, other capabilities like weapon detection will be tested.
However, as clarified by Nikkei, the cameras will be used solely for the protection of high-ranking officials and VIPs.
