Meeting of Lavrov, Mirzoyan, and Bayramov to Take Place Tomorrow
The Russian Foreign Ministry has announced that on July 25, trilateral and bilateral negotiations will take place in Moscow between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan.
According to the statement, the foreign ministers will analyze ways to de-escalate the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh and discuss how to activate the implementation of trilateral agreements made between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, January 11, and from November 26, 2021, until October 31 of the same year. Russia is ready to provide maximum assistance in these matters.
The ministers will also discuss other key avenues for the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, including the unblocking of transport communications in the region, border delimitation between Azerbaijan and Armenia, interaction between the societies and experts, as well as the initiation of dialogue between parliamentarians.
Bilateral talks are also planned between Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov, as well as Ararat Mirzoyan, to discuss current issues on the Russo-Azerbaijani and Russo-Armenian agendas related to political, trade, economic, and humanitarian fields.
