Putin States Ukrainian Losses During Counteroffensive Exceed 26,000

The loss of personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the counteroffensive has already exceeded 26,000, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced during a meeting with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko on July 23.

In this way, the President of the Russian Federation commented on the words of the Belarusian leader regarding the irretrievable losses of the Ukrainian armed forces since the start of the counteroffensive, which he stated have amounted to 26,000 people.

“Moreover, it has already surpassed that figure,” Putin stated. He also commented on the failure of Kiev's counteroffensive.
