Photography: The Civil Contract Party is gathering votes for Avinyan using the administrative resources of other communities
The "Independent Observer" alliance has received information that, under an instruction from the Civil Contract Party's administration, the mayor of Spitak met with the community's administrative leaders and instructed them to contact citizens registered in Yerevan who are connected to Spitak and to "gather votes" for Tigran Avinyan and the Civil Contract Party in the Yerevan city council elections. They were provided with the appropriate forms.
A representative of the "Fact-Checking Platform" called the administrative leaders of Spitak's communities and the deputy mayor, presenting himself as an assistant to a Civil Contract MP, and collected evidence that a systematic effort was underway in the community to gather votes for the party's candidate.
Some administrative leaders stated that they were unaware or refused to share information over the phone. Some refused to carry out "punitive actions" against those who would not vote for Avinyan.
The "Independent Observer" has similar information regarding processes in the communities of Alaverdi, Tashir, Gyulagarak, Vedi, and Masis.
