Video: Belgrade Airport Operations Halted Due to Storm
The Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade, Serbia, temporarily suspended operations on Wednesday due to adverse weather conditions. This was reported by Air Serbia.
"Due to extremely unfavorable weather conditions, Belgrade Airport is temporarily closed tonight. As a result, some flights may land at alternative airports, and delays and cancellations are expected for those scheduled for evening and night hours," the statement said.
On Wednesday evening, heavy rain and storm winds occurred in Belgrade. During the storm, two construction lifts collapsed, and fallen trees obstructed road traffic in various areas. Power outages were reported in different parts of the city.
