Enemy Regularly Fires at Residents Engaged in Agricultural Work, Says Jrarat Mayor

The heroic settlement continues to stand strong thanks to the dedication of its heroic sons. In an interview with Artsakhpress, Jrarat Mayor Vladik Hovhannisyan stated that due to the situation surrounding Artsakh, no festive events will be organized this day.

“Despite all difficulties and trials, the residents continue to cultivate in their native land. The harvesting works are nearing completion in this region. Most of the arable lands have remained under enemy control after the war. Working the existing fields has also become challenging as enemy positions fire upon peaceful residents engaged in agricultural activities. We have vineyards, a portion of which we have cultivated within the limits of possibility,” Hovhannisyan noted.

Our interlocutor, addressing the shortage of food supplies, stated that with the limited resources available, the two kindergartens in the city continue their activities, instilling sacred values in the future generation.
