Borrell Makes Statement Regarding Turkey

“Turkey wants to resume negotiations with the EU, and the country aims to elevate the European agenda and political approaches towards us to a higher level,” said Josep Borrell, the head of EU foreign policy, to journalists ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting.

According to him, the EU will first discuss the modernization of the Customs Union, as well as the liberalization of the visa regime with Turkey.
