VIDEO: Extraordinary Incident on Baghramyan Avenue: Drivers Confused Their Buses During Protest
On July 19, relatives of missing and captive soldiers from the Ejmiatsin "Chemists" military unit blocked the Baghramyan-Proshyan intersection. They had been protesting near the presidential residence and government buildings since early morning. After waiting for 2.5 hours without any response, they decided to close the intersection, causing significant traffic disruptions.
During the protest, an unusual incident occurred. Drivers of public transport stopped their buses and subsequently became unsure about which bus belonged to whom.
It is noteworthy that about an hour after blocking the road, the parents of the captives and missing soldiers reopened the avenue. They also announced that the government has promised that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will meet with them within a week.
However, they warned that if the meeting does not take place, they will take drastic measures. “Let’s try to believe, if not, we will gather in larger numbers and block more streets,” stated one of the parents.
