We Must Implement Crisis Management, Not Create Sympathy for Artsakh People – Tigran Abrahamyan
The situation in Artsakh is reaching extreme manifestations, and there is a need to send emotional messages to the international community, but this should be done differently. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the 'Honorable' faction and a member of parliament, on his Facebook page.
'Different faces of the government were stating from the podium of the National Assembly that Artsakh has a future within Azerbaijan, talking about the necessity of brotherhood with the Turks, and now those same Turks are clearly showing what that 'brotherhood' will manifest as. Of course, the Pashinyan government is not particularly interested in how our compatriots in Artsakh are struggling to survive or addressing the minimal issues of physical existence; what matters to them is that they are in power, their bellies are full, and their pockets are full.'
'The mediating countries that encourage the surrender of Artsakh are probably already satisfied because they are participants in Azerbaijan’s genocidal policy, claiming that they consider the possibility of Artsakh people living securely within Azerbaijan to be realistic.'
'As for Araik Harutyunyan’s sit-in in front of the presidential residence, we must implement crisis management, not create sympathy for the Artsakh people. I understand that the situation in Artsakh is reaching extreme manifestations, and there is a need to send emotional messages to the international community, but this should be done differently,' wrote Tigran Abrahamyan.
