VIDEO: We Trusted You, Protestor Tells Vladimir Putin

Armenians living in Artsakh and dozens of citizens marched from the UN office in Armenia to the Russian Embassy. The protest participants presented their demands in Russian at the Russian Embassy, calling for the opening of the Lachin corridor.

The people of Artsakh declared that not only the displaced individuals but also the residents of Artsakh cannot envision their future in an oppressive and racist Azerbaijan, where Armenians are targets of hatred.

Mariam Avagyan, coordinator of the Committee of Refugees from the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic, addressed the Russian president, stating, "We have trusted you, and the road to life in Artsakh must be opened." She emphasized, "The disconnection of Lachin from Armenia is one of the methods to force Armenians out of Artsakh. Azerbaijan certainly wants a depopulated Artsakh, and if Armenians do not leave voluntarily, there is no doubt that Azerbaijan will try to resolve this issue through military means, creating unbearable conditions for the people of Artsakh, which they are currently doing by firing on Armenian workers in the fields. It is evident that Azerbaijan wants to incite a new war."

Earlier, the protestors presented their demands to representatives of the UN office. It is worth noting that a nationwide movement has begun at Renaissance Square in Artsakh these days, where tents have been set up. Azerbaijan has blocked the only road connecting Armenia to Artsakh for six months, leading to serious humanitarian issues. For more details, watch the video.
