VIDEO: The Second Phase of the Neighborhood Reconstruction Project in Kond Starts

The reconstruction project in Kond is set to enter its practical phase. The community and the government are discussing the start of the second phase of the concept competition and upcoming tasks. Residents of Kond also participated in the working meeting. This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Yerevan Municipality.

As a result of the announced international open competition, seven projects have advanced to the next phase. The conceptual proposals reflect the visions of what the urban environment in Kond could be like.

A fundamental condition for the implementation of the project is the resolution of issues related to the clarification of property boundaries for residents' homes and the issuance of property certificates. A total of around 900 property units have been registered in the neighborhood.

Which conceptual proposal will be transformed into an actual program and implemented will be determined during the second phase of the competition. However, the goal of the initiative is clear: to preserve the unique character of the historic neighborhood while integrating it with a new urban environment and traditions.
