Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced that the "grain deal" has "passed into the annals of history." This was reported by TASS.
Nonetheless, the Turkish president hopes that the "grain deal" will be extended.
Erdogan speculated that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to continue the grain deal and added that he intends to discuss the terms of the agreements with the Russian leader during his visit to Turkey in August.
Erdogan also mentioned that Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is also planning to discuss the terms of the international agreement with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
It is noteworthy that earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, announced that Russia was suspending the execution of the grain deal.
