Attack on Crimean Bridge Involved Intelligence Agencies, Says Zakharova

The "terrorist attack" on the Crimean Bridge was conducted with the involvement of American and British intelligence agencies, stated Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry. This information was reported by iz.ru.

"The (Kyiv) regime is terrorist and has all the characteristics of an organized international criminal group. Decisions are made by Ukrainian officials and military personnel with the direct participation of American and British intelligence agencies and politicians. The United States and Great Britain are leading a terrorist state apparatus," she wrote on her Telegram channel.

On July 17, at 03:05, a terrorist attack was carried out on the Crimean Bridge using two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. Two adults were killed, and a girl was wounded and hospitalized via ambulance. The roadway of the Crimean Bridge suffered damage.

Meanwhile, sources from the Security Service of Ukraine informed RBC Ukraine that the nighttime attack on the Crimean Bridge was a special operation by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' naval forces and the Security Service of Ukraine. "The bridge was attacked with the help of drones, and it was difficult to reach the bridge, but ultimately it was successful," said a source.

The representative of Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, Andrey Yusov, commented on the incident at the Crimean Bridge, quoting the head of intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, who stated that "this structure is unnecessary." Earlier, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, announced the suspension of traffic along the Crimean Bridge due to an emergency incident in the 145th stronghold of the Krasnodar Krai. He urged the residents of Crimea and guests of the peninsula to avoid traveling via the Crimean Bridge and choose alternative routes through new regions.

The governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that as a result of the incident, two residents of the region, a man and a woman, were killed, and their underage daughter was injured.
