VIDEO: 9 Drones Shot Down in Sevastopol

The Russian navy, in conjunction with air defense forces, repelled an attack by enemy drones over Sevastopol last night. This was reported by the regional governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev.

According to him, one drone was shot down over the sea, while another five were suppressed by electronic warfare forces. “The attack was massive and prolonged. Neither the city nor any objects in the water area were harmed. Our military successfully and calmly repelled the enemy's assault. Everything is calm in the city now,” he stated.

Movement of ferries and boats in Sevastopol Bay has been temporarily halted.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that the attempt by Kyiv to attack Sevastopol with seven drones and two fast attack boats was prevented.

“Two Ukrainian drones were destroyed over the waters of the Black Sea, at a significant distance from the coastline. Another five drones were suppressed through electronic warfare. No casualties or damage occurred as a result of the foiled terrorist attack,” the statement said.
