There is No Need for an Assassination Attempt on Simonyan and Sobchak: Podolyak
Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak has stated that there is no need for an assassination attempt by Ukrainian authorities on Margarita Simonyan, the chief editor of RT, and journalist Ksenia Sobchak.
According to Podolyak, they "have no influence on anything at all." It is noteworthy that the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation announced it had foiled assassination attempts against Margarita Simonyan and Ksenia Sobchak. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova claimed that the reason for the unexecuted assassination attempts by Ukrainian intelligence services was their professional activities.
