We Will March Towards the Russian Embassy: Call from the Head of the Artsakh Government's Operational Headquarters in Armenia

The Head of the Artsakh Republic Government's Operational Headquarters in Armenia, Mikael Virabyan, has issued a call.

“For more than seven months, Artsakh has been under blockade, and our compatriots are living in extreme conditions of a severe crisis. The moment is critical and fateful. Dear sisters and brothers, we must stand behind our compatriots in Artsakh. I appeal to each of you—our compatriots from the diaspora who have been hosted in the Motherland, all public organizations in Armenia, social-political figures, citizens, and especially those displaced by the 2020 war and currently sheltered in Armenia, our mothers and sisters—join the peaceful and apolitical gatherings initiated by the Operational Headquarters of the Artsakh Republic Government in Armenia.

Let us stand together and fight to save Artsakh, to keep it Armenian. We must steadfastly stand beside our relatives who are struggling under blockade and prove that we are Artsakh, and Artsakh cannot be not Armenian.

Tomorrow, at the Operational Headquarters of the Artsakh Republic Government in Armenia (Yerevan, Abovyan 9), there will be an open discussion at 12:00. Our gatherings will officially begin on July 17. We will meet in front of the UN office in Armenia (Petros Adamyan 14). After presenting our demands, we will march towards the Russian Embassy in Armenia (13 St. Gregory the Illuminator). We urge you to join our demand and stand firm for Artsakh. We have a duty; we have no other option,” the statement reads.
