Two KamAZ Trucks Collide on Kapan-Tatev Highway, One Lane Closed
On July 13 at 07:19, the crisis management center of the Syunik regional rescue service received a call reporting an accident on the Kapan-Tatev highway, with injuries and the need for rescue assistance.
A firefighting unit from the regional rescue service's primary response point in Agvanik was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 42nd kilometer of the Kapan-Tatev highway, two KamAZ trucks were involved in the collision (one driven by G. H., born in 1987, and the other by A. H., born in 1982). The highway is currently closed to one lane.
Rescuers disconnected the power supply to the vehicles, extricated A. H. from the truck's cabin, and transported him to an ambulance. The injured individual has been hospitalized at the Goris city medical center.
