Wagner Group to Be Involved in Belarusian Special Forces Combat Training

Belarusian special purpose units and fighters from the Russian Wagner private military company will work together on combat training. This was announced by Nikolai Karpenkov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Commander of Internal Troops, according to Belta.

“Currently, negotiations are underway with representatives of the Wagner paramilitary group, who will engage with us in combat readiness and share their combat experience. Groups like SOBR and Almaz will continue to arrive here,” Karpenkov stated.

“We will assimilate everything that is used and applied in Ukraine, and we will implement it,” he added.

Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that the militants of Wagner have “nothing to fear” and that their combat experience will be beneficial for their military personnel.
