Discussion between Biden and Erdogan in Vilnius Revealed
The President of the United States, Joe Biden, met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the NATO summit held in Vilnius. This information comes from a press release issued by the White House.
"President Biden congratulated President Erdogan on the agreement reached with Swedish Prime Minister Kristersson and NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg to present the protocol for Sweden's NATO membership to parliament for ratification," the release stated.
The two leaders also discussed efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation, regional issues of mutual interest, including support for Ukraine, and the importance of maintaining stability in the Aegean Sea.
It should be noted that the NATO summit is taking place in the Lithuanian capital on July 11-12, during which Erdogan and Biden met in Vilnius.
