Zelensky Announces When Ukraine Will Become a NATO Member

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced in an evening video address dedicated to the NATO summit that Ukraine will become a NATO member after the end of the war.

“Everyone understands everything—every leader, every state. Even if different positions are voiced, it is obvious that Ukraine deserves to be in the alliance. Not now, while the war is ongoing, but we need a clear signal. And this signal is needed right now,” said Zelensky.
