Vigen Khachatryan to be Replaced in Parliament by Anush Kloyan, Sworn In

The extraordinary session of the National Assembly has begun. Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan announced that the Central Electoral Commission has submitted a decree regarding the early termination of the mandate of Vigen Khachatryan, who was elected as an MP but passed away.

According to the decree, the mandate was taken over by Anush Kloyan, the next candidate on the electoral list of the Civil Contract party. The new parliamentarian was sworn in from the podium of the National Assembly.
