NATO Countries Reach Agreement on Ukraine's Membership Declaration: Reuters

NATO countries have reached an agreement on a declaration regarding Ukraine's membership in the alliance. This was reported by Reuters.

It was previously announced that a two-day NATO summit is starting in the capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, where leaders from several member countries have already arrived.

The main topic of discussion among the 31 member countries will be Ukraine, which seeks to become a member of the alliance but cannot do so while military operations from Russia continue in the country.

According to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, allies will send a clear, positive message to Ukraine regarding its membership in the alliance. He emphasized that at some point, Ukraine will become a member of NATO.
