Ceasefire Violation Recorded in Askeran Region: Russian Defense Ministry
A ceasefire violation has been recorded in the Askeran region of Nagorno-Karabakh. This information was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“There are no casualties as a result of the ceasefire violation. The command of the Russian peacekeeping forces is conducting an investigation regarding the fact in cooperation with the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides,” the statement said.
It should be noted that this morning, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense spread another piece of misinformation, alleging that the Artsakh Defense Army had repeatedly violated the ceasefire on July 10 by opening fire towards the Azerbaijani positions located in the occupied territories of the Askeran and Martuni regions of the Republic of Artsakh.
Later, Azerbaijan also claimed that it had suspended the construction works carried out by the Artsakh Defense Army in the Askeran and Karvachar regions. The Artsakh Defense Army also denied this news.
