Armen Grigoryan is in the USA. Issues of Trade and Economic Relations with Armenia Discussed
The Secretary of Armenia's Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, has met with Thea Kendall, the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Export Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce. This information has been provided by the Security Council's press service.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the expansion and deepening of trade and economic relations between Armenia and the USA. They addressed opportunities for enhancing and strengthening cooperation, particularly in the context of bilateral trade investments and improving the business environment.
“The parties also discussed other issues of mutual interest,” the statement indicated.
It is noteworthy that Grigoryan traveled to the USA on July 4. On July 6, he met in Washington with Derek Hogan, the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. State Department, as well as with experts from the Atlantic Council think tank, former ambassadors, and representatives from other think tanks.
On July 7, the Security Council Secretary discussed regional issues with Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor.
