Mbappe: I Don't Know What PSG Needs to Do to Win the Champions League
“I don’t know what PSG needs to do to win the Champions League; that question is not a question for me,” said Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe in an interview with France Football and L'Equipe.
The player reflected on his performance for the French club and the possibility of winning the Ballon d’Or. During a break in Cameroon, Mbappe also discussed his unfulfilled desire to win the Champions League.
“You need to talk to the people who create the team, who organize the team, who build this club. I’m just trying to do my job as best as I can,” noted the captain of the French national team.
Mbappe believes that Ligue 1 does not attract global fan interest in the same way as the Premier League or La Liga. However, the player remains hopeful about winning the Ballon d’Or.
“People in France have seen how I’ve grown; they see me every week at PSG or with the national team,” said Kylian Mbappe. “And I’ve been scoring a lot of goals for years. So it becomes ordinary for people. I’ve never complained about my performances being undervalued,” he added.
