Video is Old: No Azerbaijani Flag on the Hakari Bridge, Not Thanks to Russian Peacekeepers
Today, a video circulated on the internet claiming that Russian peacekeepers are demolishing an Azerbaijani flag illegally placed on the Hakari Bridge. Many perceive the footage as a recent event; however, it actually depicts incidents that occurred on June 15.
According to reliable information from Auroranews, there is currently no Azerbaijani flag on the Hakari Bridge, located in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, but this is not the result of Russian peacekeeping activities.
Moreover, our available data indicates that the video in question distorts the sequence of events that took place on June 15. It is believed that this video is being disseminated for propaganda purposes.
Recall that the Border Guard Service of Armenia’s National Security Service reported that on June 15, around 08:40, a group of Azerbaijani border guards attempted to advance towards the Hakari Bridge with the aim of installing a flag in Armenian territory. It was noted that the attempts of Azerbaijani servicemen to advance and establish a flag in Armenian territory were thwarted by measures taken by the Armenian side.
