VIDEO: Police Use Force Against Believers at Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Lawyer Claims

The Ukrainian authorities have taken over the buildings of the monastery located in the territory of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. This was reported by lawyer Nikita Chekman, who represents the interests of the monastery.

Footage shows police preventing believers from entering the monastery's premises.

It is reminded that the Ukrainian authorities later decided to prohibit the monks from entering the buildings of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and are demanding the areas be vacated by July 4.
