Lieutenant General Rank Awarded to Chief of General Staff of the RA Armed Forces

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports: “Based on the proposal of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, by the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, the Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Major General Edvard Asryan has been awarded the military rank of Lieutenant General.

Additionally, the Commander of the Special Army Corps, Colonel Armen Gyozalyan has been awarded the military rank of Major General, the Head of the Missile Troops and Artillery of the RA Armed Forces, Colonel Gor Nikoyan has also been awarded the military rank of Major General, the Head of the Engineering Troops of the RA Armed Forces, Colonel Karen Grigoryan has been awarded the military rank of Major General, and the Commander of the 2nd Army Corps, Colonel Garegin Poghosyan has been awarded the military rank of Major General.”
