Restrictions on Public Catering Services in Artsakh to Take Effect
The President of the Republic of Artsakh has today approved Government Decision N 543-N regarding the restrictions on public catering services, necessitated by the need for the economical use of food products due to the complete blockade of the Republic of Artsakh by Azerbaijan since June 15, 2023. This was reported by the Information Headquarters of Artsakh.
According to the Government's decision:
- As of July 5, 2023, at 09:00, the following are prohibited in public catering establishments:
- Organization and holding of festive, family, or other personal gatherings (except for wedding ceremonies attended by up to 50 individuals).
- Organization and holding of mourning ceremonies attended by more than 30 individuals.
- Preparation and sale of food for consumption at the establishment or delivery (culinary products), except for the serving of coffee, tea, beverages, ice cream, and flour and sugar confectioneries.
- The provisions of point 1 of these restrictions also apply to instances where public catering services are provided by organizers outside of public catering establishments (at a consumer-selected location).
- Public catering establishments include banquet halls, restaurants, cafes, bars, buffets, as well as public catering establishments adjacent to hotels and tourist homes.
