On the night of July 2, Kyiv was attacked by drones for the first time in 12 days. According to Ukrainian authorities, eight Iranian-made Shahid-136/131 drones and three Kalibr cruise missiles targeted the city. This information was reported to the BBC.

Kyiv came under an attack by drones for the first time in 12 days, with preliminary data indicating the use of Iranian Shahid-136/131 drones, said Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv Odesa Ground Forces Academy.

"With our air defense forces and means, all enemy targets in the airspace surrounding Kyiv were identified and destroyed," Popko stated in his announcement.
