«The People’s Patience is Not Endless»: Artsakh Prime Minister
The Prime Minister of Artsakh, Gurgen Nersisyan, wrote on his Facebook page: «This year, the people of Artsakh are not only forced to endure a blockade but also regularly face destructive natural disasters. Several communities in Artsakh have been hit by hail multiple times, and the hail and mudslides that occurred yesterday have again caused significant damage to several communities in the Askeran and Martakert regions, damaging agricultural lands and people's homes.
Specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Urban Development of Artsakh have already begun assessing the damage and are working on recovering the losses as much as possible. The bridge in the Garnakar community of the Martakert region has been completely destroyed; however, an alternative solution with limited capabilities has been found, and the necessary amount of flour has been sent to that community, while medicine will also be dispatched soon.
It has been more than 200 days since the Republic of Artsakh has been in an unimaginable struggle. The people of Artsakh are openly subjected to deprivation and suffering in front of numerous observers, and attempts are being made through coercion to force the Artsakh people to renounce their identity, deny their birthplace, language, and faith, but events show that all such steps are in vain. However, all of this needs to come to an end; the patience of the people of Artsakh is not endless.»
