OceanGate Invites Tourists to New Expedition to the Titanic Shipwreck

OceanGate continues to sell tickets for those who wish to visit the wreck of the Titanic, despite the tragic incident involving the Titan submersible. This information was reported by life.ru.

Details about the tour are available on the organization’s website. Currently, interested individuals can purchase tours for 2024. The cost of such a journey remains the same at $250,000 per person.

It is worth recalling that the Titan submersible aimed to see the remains of the Titanic. Communication was lost 1 hour and 45 minutes after the dive began on June 18. Efforts for search and rescue have involved the U.S. and Canadian coast guards, as well as private vessels.

Notably, the Titan included British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son, French oceanographer Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and Stockton Rush, the founder and CEO of OceanGate. The U.S. Coast Guard has confirmed that all five members of the Titan submersible crew died due to a “catastrophic implosion.”
