Man Arrested in Kyiv for Corrupting 200 Schoolgirls and Selling Child Pornography

A man has been arrested in Kyiv for corrupting 200 schoolgirls and selling child pornography. This was reported by Gazeta.ru. The citizen of Sevastopol will stand before the court for corrupting his daughter and stepdaughter.

The 35-year-old man is charged with offenses under three articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code. The investigation into his activities began in the spring of 2022 after investigators from the cyber police received information about an unknown individual sending adult content to a 12-year-old child. Additionally, the man demanded similar photographs from the child.

During a search of the suspect's residence, police discovered that he had a long history of illegal activities and was involved in various crimes against children. "We discovered and seized over 4 terabytes of child pornographic content from the man's computer and flash drives. Subsequent developments confirmed 181 instances of his criminal activities and identified over 200 girls aged between 10 and 17 from both Ukraine and foreign countries who have been victimized by the suspect's actions," the police reported.

According to the police, the arrested individual had communicated with victims living in different regions of the country, posing as their peers. He obtained intimate photos from teenagers through deception, coercion, threats of physical violence, and rape. It was also revealed that he had stalked some children in real life, "escorting" them from school to their homes.

It is noted that the man had accomplices, one of whom the police describe as Russian. With their help, he sold the obtained footage to foreigners, earning multi-million profits. Currently, the individual is facing a criminal case, which has led several victims to attempt suicide due to his actions. Reports indicate that he faces up to 15 years in prison.
