Do Not Doubt My Resolve on Artsakh and Armenia Issues: Macron to Armenian Community

French President Emmanuel Macron met with influential Armenian circles in Marseille during a three-day visit. This was reported by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation website.

During the meeting with the Armenian community in Marseille, which was also attended by National Assembly member Sabrina Akresti-Rubash, the President was addressed, stating that they expect a more influential initiative from him under the conditions of the blockade of Artsakh and Azerbaijani aggression, one that is more practical, not just moral.

Macron responded that he is putting pressure on both Aliyev and Pashinyan. “I exert more pressure on Aliyev than on Pashinyan. I am the only one who has a clear position and message on the issue of Artsakh,” he stated. The President added that they should not doubt his determination regarding the issues of Artsakh and Armenia: “I must continue my efforts, even if I am the only one in the international community with this agenda,” concluded the French President.
