6-Month Ban on Export of Wheat, Barley, Corn, Sorghum, Sunflower Seeds, and Sunflower Oil from Armenia

The Armenian government has imposed a six-month ban on the export of wheat, barley, corn, sorghum, sunflower seeds, and sunflower oil to countries that are not members of the EAEU.

According to the justification provided, the decision has been made in the context of ensuring food security and stabilizing the economy of Armenia.

It has been noted that domestic production of these products does not meet the demand in the Armenian market, which is currently fulfilled through imports.
