On June 28, starting at 01:30, Azerbaijani armed forces shelled Armenian positions in Martuni and Martakert using artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Ministry of Defense of Armenia reported that the Armenian side had 4 casualties.

56-year-old Armo Abgaryan and 36-year-old Gagik Balayan were from the Gishi community in the Martuni region.
