Erdogan Has Also Held a Phone Conversation with Aliyev

Today, a phone conversation took place between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which they congratulated each other on the occasion of Kurban Bayram. The two leaders also discussed their allied relations.

“During the phone conversation, confidence was expressed that the bilateral friendly and brotherly relations will continue to successfully develop in all areas, and there was an exchange of views on the further development of allied relations,” reported the press service of the President of Azerbaijan.

Earlier, it was reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Prime Minister congratulated the President on Kurban Bayram, while the President congratulated the Prime Minister on the upcoming Vardavar celebration, marking the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ.
