Artsakh has never been and will never be independent within Azerbaijan, Tovmasyan
Artsakh has never been and will never be independent within Azerbaijan, and any discussion around this is unacceptable for us. This was stated by the President of the Artsakh Parliament, Arthur Tovmasyan, who asserted that this is their red line, and no one has the right to violate it.
According to him, what is happening in Artsakh is occurring with the silent consent of the international community. He stated that the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the leaders of those countries must understand that the annexation of our country to Azerbaijan would lead to the depopulation and destruction of Artsakh.
"We cannot change the order of the world. Little Artsakh does not pose a threat, but our people's right to live safely and fully is endangered. Azerbaijan is deliberately starving the people of Artsakh and wishes to annihilate them," he said.
Today, the deputies of Artsakh honored the memory of those who lost their lives with a minute of silence.
